FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

All Accounts

Is there a way to check to see if my account has been created?

If approved, you will receive an email with login information.  If you don't see it in your inbox, be sure to check your spam folder or make sure your email server isn't blocking emails from sqlreports.net.  You can try using the "Forgot your password?" link on the login box to see if an account exists.  If an account hasn't been created, it'll say so, otherwise it'll send an email with further instructions to reset the password for the account.

How long does it take for the reset password email to arrive?

It should arrive within seconds.  If you don't see it in your inbox, be sure to check your spam folder or make sure your email server isn't blocking emails from sqlreports.net.

What should I do if I don't see the new account email or the password reset emails?

Have you checked your spam folder?  Have you checked with the person in charge of the email server to see if emails from sqlReports.net are being blocked and if that can be changed?  If you answer Yes to both, then please contact Matt.  The emails will come from donotreply @ sqlreports.net and it's inbox can be checked to see if your email bounced, which can happen if the address you gave had a typo, or if your email server has a spam blocker that notifies the sender the email was rejected.   Matt can also help with a short term solution to get you logged in.  Long term though, the main thing to resolve will be any spam settings on your end with regards to the sqlreports.net email.

Can I change my contact email address?

Yes - once you're logged into the site, you can go to the Account Information page under the Login menu and change your email address.  The email address you enter is the one that will receive any reset password emails.

Can I change my username?

No - usernames must be unique and are based on work email addresses.  If your work email address has changed, please contact Matt with the new address and he will change the username.

I logged in but I can't access anything - what happened?

Sometimes browsers will have caching issue.  Try logging in with a different browser and if that works, go back to your original browser and either clear the browser cache or delete sqlreports.net from your history, and try logging in again.

Free Accounts Only

Do free accounts prior to May 1, 2019, work?

No.  All the free accounts that were created before then were purged from the database in late April.  Login information from those accounts do not work and you would need to apply for a new account.

What will I have access to with a free account?

It's only needed if you wish to download the free version of sqlReports.  It will not give you access to anything that requires a site subscription.

Can my free account be deleted?

Yes.  Free accounts will be deleted due to the following reasons - 1) the user requests the account be deleted (contact Matt and your free account will be deleted upon request), or 2) a couple times a year any free accounts that haven't been used will be deleted.  Users can reapply for accounts in both cases.

Why would an application be denied?

Reasons can include, but are not limited to:  a) a non-work email address was given on the application, b) the person has violated this site's terms of use in the past, or c) the person works for a company with a product that is considered to be in competition with sqlReports or any premium content on this site.  Those denied for those reasons will not receive an email explaining why due to the fact the reasons have been stated in this answer.

Subscription Accounts Only

Where do I find expiration dates for my subscriptions?

After you login you should be redirected to a login landing page with the information.  If not, you can find the information on the Order Information page under the login menu.  You'll only have access to that page after you login.

We have a current site subscription but the account holder left the district - what do we do?

Contact Matt (matt @ freundresources.com) and he will update the account.

Can our current site subscription have more logins besides the primary contact?

Yes - the primary ontact will need to email Matt via the main subscription email account (matt @ freundresources.com) a list of names and email addresses to add.  Only email addresses from the customer's domain name will be added.
